Handsome Aaron

Once a frightened little dude, to just a little shy, Aaron is now enjoying his new found security. Regular meals, a warm bed, friends to snuggle up with – how could life not be better…maybe a furever human to love and adore?

This beautiful one year old boy was found on a farm outside of Airdrie. Their angles spotted Aaron and his sister Argentina wandering their property, not knowing where they came from. They brought Argentina in first, Aaron was proving to be a little more elusive and untrusting. But with patience and consistency, they gained his trust and secured him safely.

His sister was quickly adopted, she is almost a mirror image of him. Who couldn’t love a face like this…right?

Aaron was a little slower than his sister in building that trust. But our volunteers worked with him slowly, letting him know that we were there to take care of him – no more wandering, no more looking for his next meal, we had so much love to give him and allowed him to give some of that love back.

Aaron has flourished. And that is what we work towards here at the shelter. Every resident moves forward at their own pace. Some are quicker and some a little slower…some even years. But we never give up. Just like Aaron, they become who they truly want to be.

Aaron is up to date on all his shots, he’s neutered and microchipped.
