We’d like to do something special on Friday’s. So each week, Tails to Tell is going to feature one of our cats/kittens that are in foster care. We thought it very fitting to kick it off with one cool dude, who’s not camera shy, who’s always up for a head boop, who’s known to a lot of people.
This big boy, originally from Sylvan Lake, was surrendered in April 2021. It took awhile for Stan to find his feet and adjust to shelter life.
After a few months though, Stan was showing signs of a little arthritis but nothing that required medication. He’s also a dude who like his space – not one for cuddling up to other kitties. Stan is enjoying life as the only pet with his foster momma. He loves to help her with her work day, hanging out close by while she’s on her laptop. He’s found out that after his foster momma comes out of the sauna, it’s very warm inside. So she’s been leaving the door open for him after it’s shut off – can we say spoiled?! Stan would love a furever home as the only pet. He’s a very unique personality and has shown his loveable side since being in foster.
He’s neutered, microchipped, all his shots are up to date and he comes with one month pet insurance.
If you would like to meet this gorgeous 5 year old gentleman, please give the shelter a call at 403.946.0400 and we’ll have Stan’s foster momma make a date
